Ordering & Shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is coming soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we expand.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 3–5 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order has been transferred to the shipping carrier.
Delivery time after shipment varies based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Expedited shipping shortens the carrier’s delivery time but does not change our 3–5-business-day processing window.

Do you offer local pickup?
Not at this time. All orders are shipped directly to you.
My order hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
Check your tracking information for the latest status. If your package shows as delivered but you haven’t received it, check with your neighbors, household members or building management.
If you still cannot locate it, email us at Jarek@bsugared.com with your name and order number, and we’ll help you determine the next steps.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your fragrance. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Returned fragrances must be at least 90% full and in their original condition. Approved returns will be refunded to the original form of payment, minus the original shipping charges.

Can I exchange a fragrance for a different scent?
Yes. Email Jarek@bsugared.com within 30 days of delivery. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and ship your replacement after the original fragrance has been received and inspected.
Do you offer samples or Discovery Sets?
Yes. Discovery Sets and travel sizes are available for select fragrances. Visit our Collections page or the individual fragrance page for current formats and availability.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email Jarek@bsugared.com with your order number and clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item. Once we review the information, we’ll arrange an appropriate replacement at no additional cost.
About Our Fragrances
Are KHYE fragrances gender-inclusive?
Absolutely. Every KHYE fragrance is designed to be worn by anyone, regardless of gender. Fragrance has no gender—wear what moves you.
What concentration are your fragrances?
KHYE fragrances are Extrait de Parfum, formulated with a fragrance concentration of approximately 30–35%. This higher concentration creates a rich, full-bodied scent experience designed for lasting wear.
Longevity and projection vary by fragrance, application, skin chemistry and environment.
How long do your fragrances last?
KHYE fragrances are created for lasting wear, but performance varies by fragrance, application, skin chemistry, activity level and environment.
Applying fragrance to clean, moisturized skin can help extend the wear.
What are sillage and projection?
Sillage is the trail of fragrance you leave behind. Projection describes how far a fragrance radiates from your body.

How should I apply my fragrance?

Apply to pulse points such as the wrists, neck, behind the ears and inner elbows.

Apply to clean, moisturized skin.

Allow the fragrance to dry naturally rather than rubbing your wrists together, which can affect how the opening develops.

Layer over an unscented moisturizer to help extend the wear.

How should I store my fragrance?

Do your fragrances contain alcohol?
Yes. KHYE fragrances are made with perfumer’s alcohol, which helps the fragrance diffuse and develop on the skin.
If you have sensitive skin, review the ingredients and perform a small patch test before applying the fragrance more broadly.
Do you use natural or synthetic fragrance materials?
We use both natural and synthetic fragrance materials. Natural materials can provide richness, character and complexity. Synthetic materials allow us to create distinctive accords, improve consistency and achieve effects that may not be possible with natural materials alone.
Both are widely used in modern fine perfumery.
Do you test your fragrances on animals?
No. We do not test our finished fragrances on animals. Ingredient information varies by fragrance, so please review the individual product page or contact us if you have questions about a specific ingredient or formulation.
I have allergies or sensitivities. Can I wear your fragrances?
Fragrances may contain ingredients that cause reactions in sensitive individuals. Please review the ingredient information on the individual product page and perform a small patch test before regular use.
If you have a known allergy or medical concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using the product. You may also email Jarek@bsugared.com with questions about a specific fragrance.
Can I wear fragrance while pregnant or nursing?
If you are pregnant, nursing or under medical care, consult your healthcare provider before using fragranced products.

What sizes do you offer?
Our full-size fragrances are offered in 45 mL / 1.52 fl. oz. bottles. Discovery Sets and travel formats may also be available for select fragrances.

Why did KHYE choose a 45 mL bottle?
The 45 mL format is part of KHYE’s connection to music. It is a subtle reference to the 45 rpm record—a format that introduced generations of listeners to unforgettable songs.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not at this time, but our packaging is designed to feel special from the moment it arrives.
If you are sending an order as a gift, add your message during checkout and we’ll include a handwritten card.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Digital gift cards are available in multiple denominations and are delivered by email. They can be redeemed for eligible products available through our website.
About KHYE Fragrances
Who is the perfumer?
Every KHYE fragrance is composed by founder and perfumer Jarekhye Covarrubias.
Before creating KHYE Fragrances, Jarekhye developed more than 100 fragrance creations through his earlier work with Haught Parfums and Ganache Parfums. Learn more about his journey on our About page.
What does “KHYE” mean?
KHYE is drawn from the name Jarekhye and represents the personal, soulful nature of the brand. Every fragrance carries a piece of memory, culture and lived experience.
What does “Fragrance, as Feeling” mean?
KHYE approaches fragrance as more than a combination of notes. Each composition begins with a feeling, memory, rhythm or cultural moment and translates that experience into scent.
Are KHYE fragrances inspired by specific songs?
Many KHYE fragrances draw inspiration from the music that shaped us—particularly R&B, hip-hop, funk and neo-soul from the 1990s through the early 2010s, with occasional influences from earlier eras.
Each fragrance is composed like a song: an opening that draws you in, a heart that develops and a lasting impression that stays with you.
KHYE does not use artist photographs, likenesses, song lyrics or reproduced album artwork. Our visual artwork is created specifically for KHYE and reflects the broader emotional and cultural world surrounding each fragrance.
KHYE Fragrances is an independent fragrance house. Musical and cultural references reflect artistic inspiration only. KHYE Fragrances is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected to any recording artist, songwriter, record label, music publisher or other rights holder.
Are you a Black-owned business?
Yes. KHYE Fragrances is a Black-owned, independent fragrance house based in California.
Where are your fragrances made?
KHYE fragrances are handcrafted in small batches in California.
